WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

The IT Specialist plays a key role in a company life. 
The successful candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines, think critically, and be responsible.
He/she will respond directly to the Managing Director.

Main Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibility:

  1. Maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers, software and computer installations and upgrades.
  2. Maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Networks for the company and customers. This includes proper configuration of VPN, Firewall, router, switches.
  3. HelpDesk attention for customers.
  4. Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  5. Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  6. Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
  7. Participation in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs in the company.

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  1. Knowledge in Windows Desktop and Server, Linux(Ubuntu), Network Deployment & System Application’s
  2. Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks, DNS, Firewalls etc.
  3. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issue’s
  4. Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  5. Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
  6. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to guide, influence and persuade colleagues at all levels
  7. Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills and the ability to apply them to a wide range of tasks
  8. Ability to learn, change, and develop new skills and seek advice from a variety of sources.
  9. Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  10. Good skills in computer networks, MS Office 365 suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  2. Professional Certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is an advantage).
  3. Knowledge in Odoo is a plus.
